About Team DSM

Team DSM is a Dutch road cycling team founded in 2005 and licensed by the UCI World Tour. The team has had major successes since 2012, mainly thanks to sprinters Marcel Kittel and John Degenkolb, and the Dutch time trialist Tom Dumoulin.

Kittel won eight stages at the Tour de France and two at the Giro d’Italia, while Degenkolb won a stage at the Giro d’Italia and nine at the Vuelta a España, as well as several classics including, in 2015, Milan-San Remo and Paris-Roubaix.

Dumoulin won the Giro d’Italia 2017 , finished second at the 2018 Giro d’Italia and the 2018 Tour de France, and claimed several stages victories in the three Grand Tours.

Team DSM’s motto is “Keep Challenging” which indicates the determination to pursue dreams and not accept the status quo, to be the world champion of teamwork, to push the boundaries of science and technology to make equipment faster, calculations more accurate, training more effective and nutrition more optimal.

The fight against doping and the protection of the environment are two other challenges that are close to Team DSM’s heart, with the team being in the front line in independent and particularly strict control procedures and as an Ambassador for the charity Trees for All.
