The race will continue with the “Sena #SailConnected leg” to Panama, starting on May 3rd.

Sena is proud to be the official fleet partner of the Clipper Round the World Yacht Race. It is a unique nautical race, referred to as “one of the biggest challenges of the natural world” and “an endurance test like no other”. The world’s largest matched fleet of ocean racing yachts is sailing around the world. On board of each Clipper: The Sena NAUTITALK BOSUN, allowing the crews to enjoy perfect connectivity at all times and #SailConnected.

This Mesh intercom headset is specially designed for maritime communication and is highly appreciated by the participants of the race.

UNICEF AQP Laura Hampton said, “The NAUTITALK Sena headsets have proved a phenomenal piece of equipment in facilitating communications while up the rig.”

David Hartshorn, Bekezela Skipper, claimed: “I must say that the Sena marine connectivity headsets we are using are awesome- deck to masthead communication is fantastic, no shouting or misinterpretations.”

The competitors are due to arrive in Seattle’s Bell Harbour Marina from 21 to 26 of April after having crossed the North Pacific from Qingdao, China. The next race, appropriately called the “Sena #SailConnected leg” will start on May 3rd with a slipping of the lines ceremony followed by a “Parade of Sail” and take the sailors to Panama.

This unique 40,000 nautical mile race around the world was the first big deployment of the NAUTITALK BOSUN and a perfect opportunity to test it under the toughest of conditions.
