A California native, Jim Hyde has spent the majority of his life in Southern California. Raised in a small town in the Mojave Desert, he fell in love at an early age with the grandeur and unique beauty of the California desert.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Jim started RawHyde Adventures in the spring of 2002 with only one idea: an 8-day dual-sport tour from Los Angeles to Las Vegas. The tour was nearly a 1,000 mile off-road adventure through the Mojave Desert, touching all the dramatic places that have made the Mojave a sought after \u201cadventure destination\u201d for travelers from all over the planet.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In 2004 as the tour program matured, the company began offering its acclaimed \u201cAdventure Camp\u201d training program. In two short years, it became the #1 Enduro training facility in the country, a position it still holds to this day. RawHyde Adventures now offers many programs for riders from training to global tour opportunities. \u201cI\u2019ve always loved the outdoors, and our partnership with BMW allows me to introduce hundreds of new riders each year to the wonders of Adventure Riding,\u201d Jim says.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In addition to motorcycling, Jim enjoys all things outdoors, including four-wheel drive exploring, water skiing, snow skiing, and shooting handguns, rifles, and sporting clays.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
