On 11 May 2025, Johann Zarco, racing for Team Honda LCR, became the first French MotoGP rider to win the French Grand Prix since 1954. Two years after his first MotoGP victory in Australia, the LCR Honda team rider finally triumphed on home soil, in front of an ecstatic crowd.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once he crossed the finish line, Zarco celebrated in his usual style: a few words with his team and his now-famous backflip. A simple gesture to savour a long-awaited moment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
