This innovative update transforms the way users connect, enabling instant group intercom functionality with friends—no matter the distance.

With Friends-Based Intercom, riders can now create intercom groups directly from their Wave App friends list, allowing continuous, long-range communication as long as all participants have cellular network coverage. Unlike traditional intercom systems limited by proximity, this feature breaks boundaries and keeps people connected across cities, trails, or even countries.

How It Works

Using Friends-Based Intercom is simple and intuitive:

Open the ”Friends” tab at the bottom of your Wave App Home Screen.

Tap “Create Friends Wave” to view your friends list.

Select the friends you want to Wave with, and Start!

Friends Based Intercom is now available with the latest update of the Wave Intercom App on both iOS and Android.
