Overview
   Sena Bluetooth Device Manager is an application for updating firmware and configuring Sena Bluetooth Devices such as 20S, 10S, 10C, 10U, 10R, Cavalry, X1, Tufftalk, SMH10, SMH10R, SMH5, SMH5-FM, SMH3, 3S, SPH10, SPH10S, SPH10H, SPH10H-FM, EXPAND, Bluetooth Audio Pack, SR10, PRISM, Snowtalk and SM10. It helps restoring the backup firmware and settings.
Sena Bluetooth Device Manager
   There are five steps to manage device as below:
  • [Welcome]
  • : is the step where users can start device manager.
  • [Device recognition]
  • : is the step where users can get instructions on how get Sena Bluetooth devices recognized by Sena Bluetooth Device Manager. Pressing the [NEXT >] button triggers recognition of device. Once a device is recognized, users can update firmware or change device setting.
  • [Firmware update]
  • : is the step where users can update firmware.
  • [Firmware restore]
  • : the step where users can restore backup firmware and setting.
  • [Device setting]
  • : is the step where users can change device setting.
   Users can easily deal with Sena Bluetooth Devices by taking these steps.
   Some Sena Bluetooth Devices can cause problem in using built-in Bluetooth function of users' Mac on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard, 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite, 10.11 El Capitan.

System Preferences / Menu Bar before and after connecting the Sena Bluetooth Device with unsafety for built-in bluetooth usage
   It results in malfunction of Blutooth Keyboard and Mouse. If users use Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse without alternative built-in or wired input devices, users will lose control of users' Mac. In this case, it is necessary to make these Sena Bluetooth Devices safe for using Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse before managing them. This process is called the 'Activation'.
   If users select [YES] option for the answer to 'Do you use Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse without alternative built-in or wired input devices?' at the [Precaution] page, the manager will automatically start activating the unsafe device and restart Mac on recognizing device on Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard 10.7 Lion, 10.8 Mountain Lion, 10.9 Mavericks, 10.10 Yosemite, 10.11 El Capitan.
   If [NO] option is selected, the manager will just activate the device without restarting Mac.
