BMW F800 GS, called the "Red Donkey"
"Everything begins with dreams."
An adventure couple discovering the world on their BMW F800 GS.
Meet Marta Zajchowska and Lucas Gorniak – Polish people who decided in their 30s about leaving the comfort zone, changing the office chair into a motorcycle saddle and looking around for the adventure. For Lucas, the most important thing is to go (or better to say ride) further. He can’t sit in one place; that is why he is riding with so much energy. He loves adrenaline and challenges, but takes the life too easy.
Marta is the reasonable half of that duet, with many dreams and ideas. She's curious of the world, but calculating. She likes challenges and people around when travelling, and is fascinated about how human beings are adaptable to changing conditions. She is a good example of someone always on tour. Before, nobody thought that she would love to live life like that.
Both are still on the road making their world loop around continents, riding two-up and watching the world from two different perspectives. Their BMW clock shows over 174,000 km now made in 86 countries riding through both Americas, around Africa, Central Asia, and Europe in the last 2.5 year, since they have started exploring the world on two wheels.
Another big trip just awaits - in the next few months, they will be somewhere on the way to Australia going through Asia and ride another 100,000 km crossing both continents around.
With a positive streak and no fear of long distances, they are proving that even without experience - if they can do it, it’s possible to travel far. These days, with so many additional apps, travelers’ reviews and global opportunities, it’s getting easier and easier. The difficult part is starting a journey, for sure. Marta and Lucas are exploring, captivating moments in pictures and videos and disseminating the idea of motorcycle travelling all over the world.
