Application Scenario A leading provider of digital syndication and delivery services, who operates digital media distribution platforms for publishing and financial services needed to Internet enable their media displays to receive up to the minute news and information from their Data Centers. The SS100, a single port secure serial device server, was installed in multiple locations to connect their media displays to Ethernet network. In the new system, at the end of the network is a SS100, which is connected to Ethernet on one side and connected via a serial communication port to the media displays on the other. The SS100 receives news and information from data centers, converts and sends to a media display device.
