Q. What is "Latency" and how much latency Sena Bluetooth and Device Server products impose?
A. Latency can be described as an expression of how much time it takes for a packet of data to get from one designated point to another, or how much time it takes to send a packet that is returned to the sender (round-trip time).
Sena Bluetooth and Device Server products have minimum latency among their classes for smooth migration from native serial port applications. Detailed latency test result can be found in Sena Latency/Throughput white paper.

Device Server allows centralized management of Semi-conductor equipment via Ethernet Network
In the semiconductor industry, accuracy is of the utmost importance. Semiconductor process control systems require the use of highly accurate machinery combined with data analysis. These results are used to identify equipment issues, and to find new ways to increase quality efficiency and output.
By making use of any one of Sena Technologies serial device servers, semi-conductor manufacturers will have the ability to control and monitor various semi-conductor equipment, which translates to, reduced operating costs, and more efficient management key semiconductor control and measurement systems, and cleaner cable management.
