1.  Bluetooth Access Point and Wi-Fi Device Servers for Wireless M2M Applications
 
     SENA is pleased to release a couple of Wireless M2M technology product lines, “Bluetooth Access Point” and “Wireless Device Servers”, which brings intelligent wireless device networking capabilities to serial devices.
  • Bluetooth Access Point - Parani-MSP1000 Series
The Parani-MSP1000 is a Bluetooth Access Point product line designed to manage up to 28 Bluetooth devices over 10/100 Base-T Ethernet network with advanced options. It incorporates Bluetooth 2.0 Protocol Stack with Enhanced Data Rate (EDR) support; and transmits data from each Bluetooth terminal to management station via TCP/IP.


 


The Parani-MSP1000 product line supports profiles including Serial port, LAN access, PAN and FTP profiles to keep Bluetooth devices interoperating smoothly and easily. Serial Port Profile enables Bluetooth support for serial data connections. LAN access profile provides network access and PAN profile allows Bluetooth units to participate in a Personal Area Network.

  • Wireless Device Servers - PSx10W Series
The PSx10W is a Wireless Device Server product line that connects RS232 Serial Devices to the 802.11b/g type wireless network with competitive edge features such as flexible operation mode, TCP/UDP multicasting, telnet COM port control protocol support (RFC2217 compliant), SSL encryption, and port event handling for wireless device networking. On the network interface side, the PSx10W incorporate 802.11b/g type wireless network interface. In addition, it has a 10/100Base port for Backup Configuration purposes.





 

The PSx10W provides enterprise-class WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access) and 802.11i compliant wireless security through advanced AES encryption for complete data privacy and secure mutual authentication services. Further, the PSx10W supports standard 64/128-bit WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) protocol to protect data being transmitted over a wireless LAN network.

1. STS Series (STS400/800/1600) and SS100 Firmware v1.4.4 Release


A new firmware version of the STS Series product line and SS100 that supports automatic firmware upgrade via FTP, HTTP and TFTP feature is now available for download from SENA website at
